An Open Letter From Paula

24th March 2020 |

In the light of the Coronavirus situation, Future Directions Managing Director Paula Braynion would like to thank everyone who work with the people we support.

Dear Teams,

I just want to say a massive thank you for keeping the people we support as safe and well as possible. The people we support have never needed you more nor has the country ever needed you more to help keep it going. I am constantly impressed by how I see each of our teams living out our values of putting others first, being creative, being adaptable, being transparent and going the extra mile. These values are our compass and guide on how to do the right things in these difficult times.

I know its scary times but together we can be stronger. Together we can deal with any problem or scenario. You and your team are not on your own, you are part of a much wider Future Directions family and we are part of a much wider social care and NHS key worker army fighting together to defeat this virus!

This will pass, it won’t last forever. It will however get harder before it gets better. We must, in the next few weeks, pull together and look after each other and be kind to each other. We must live out our values for each other as well as people we support.

We can, and will, get through this together. We will do it one day at a time and we will do it together.

I have never worked with better people or teams and you can feel proud of yourself and each other for the invaluable work you are doing at this time and keep people safe and well as possible.

Thank you,

Paula.
