The Driving Up Quality Award winners were announced at yesterday’s Learning Disability England Supported Living Conference.
The winners of the Driving Up Quality Awards were decided by the Learning Disability England Steering Group and the Association of Quality Checkers.
“Yesterday at the LDE Conference we found out that we had won the National Driving Up Quality Award for Openness and Transparency. The judges were impressed with our open culture and how we dealt with things when they go wrong and how we learn from them. Plus our desire to get things right. As one of our values is ‘Be Transparent’ it is brilliant to get this award and really means a lot to us all. Well done to everyone at Future Directions, keep up the good work!” Paula Braynion
Driving Up Quality was created after Winterbourne View to make services better.
