Following completion of Diploma in Epilepsy Management I provide training for all staff working with people we support with Epilepsy. The training I deliver follows Joint Epilepsy Council (JEC) guidelines and includes Epilepsy Awareness, the administration of rescue medications including Buccal Midazolam and Rectal Diazepam, Health and Safety Issues and Record Keeping. I provide accurate, up to date information and teach a procedure which is regarded as good practice.

I spent seven years working within long stay hospitals before supporting people to move into their own homes within their local communities. I have training in NVQ level 3+4 in health and social care and NVQ level 5 Diploma in Management. I have worked within the role as Deputy Network Manager for three years and find my job extremely rewarding as I meet lots of interesting people.
