Project Support Officer – Marle House

Main duties and responsibilities

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our SPICE team and support our ‘Experts by Experience’ group.

The post holder will work with our SPICE Lead to ensure the effective day-to-day running of a diverse range of projects, which is all about improving the lives of people we support, and giving them a voice. This includes people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and people with complex needs.

You will be working on a range of projects, including working with our Green Superheroes (our recycling team who organise litter-pick walks, art and craft workshops, and recycling training sessions), coordinating a Safe Place scheme, and developing and delivering training in co-production with people we support.

An Enhanced DBS will also be a requirement.

*Please note – The role will be initially offered as a fixed term contract for up to 12 month, for internal applicants the role will be offered as a 12 month secondment and must have passed their probationary period to apply.

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction, which will take place in Chadderton, Oldham (OL9). This is a nine-day induction (over three weeks) and we require all successful applicants to attend all days.
