Mental Health Support Worker (Male Only)

We are seeking experienced male support workers to join our team in a new Supported Living Service in Preston. The service will support two male adults with complex mental health needs and forensic backgrounds. With guidance from the Team Manager you will be involved in the transition for the individuals from hospital placement in to their new home. The people have a variety of keen interests including football, walking and gardening. They will also require support in maintaining their new home and keeping themselves healthy and safe – having shared interests and a motivational approach is essential.

Working with Future Directions will give you the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives everyday by providing vital support to an individual’s life. This role is both rewarding and fulfilling as you will be helping vulnerable people to live happy and independent lives.

Please note: there is a genuine occupational requirement as to why males only are required.
