What is the Do Something New Fund?
The Do Something New Fund is accessible for anyone supported by Future Directions, people are asked to fill in an application form and send to Kimberley Barrett at Marle House. Through the fund people have tried driving a tank for the day, experienced a spa day, visited Harry Potter Studios, tried gym taster sessions, had swimming lessons, gone to concerts, shows and sports events and much, much more…
The Friends for Life team also arrange tester sessions throughout the year, so that people can have a shared experience. Examples of these taster sessions include:
- Go Karting
- Flight Simulators
- Accessible Multi Sports
- Visit from reindeer, donkeys and ponies
- Skylight Circus
- Indoor Skiing
- Indoor Skydiving
- Pottery Sessions
- Line Dancing
- Football Stadium Tours
- Kayaking
- Accessible Gaming
- Horse Riding
- Ice Skating
- Paint Splat
How to Apply:
- We will ask you to fill in an application form.
- Include what you would like to try.
- Tell us how much money you will need.

- Make a decision about your application and will get back to you with a decision.
