Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager your focus will be on supporting teams on people matters and supporting the recruitment of values driven staff which will enable the delivery of excellent support to the people we support and will help us achieve our goals – and yours.

Responsibilities:
The role will involve assisting the HR Manager in all aspects of HR and recruitment, delivering a high quality people service through the provision of HR advice and support and strong HR Administration practices.

The role involves:
• General HR administration including assisting with general emails and telephone enquiries
• Ensuring that all HR and employee documentation is up to date and compliant
• Advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, setting up and overseeing recruitment selection events and interviews.
• Collating new starter information including ID, eligibility paperwork, signed contracts and ensuring all employee information is received in a timely manner
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives
• Provide 1st level employee relations advice and administration
• Preparing and note taking during hearings, investigations, meetings

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous HR administration experience
• Has previous recruitment experience – essential
• Is highly organised, faced paced, able to use initiative
• Has a proactive and methodical approach to work with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Has the ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees at all levels
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience of using electronic HR and payroll systems.
• Some working knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements.
• CIPD qualified or working towards
• Driver with access to a car

This role is a permanent position, working closely with our HR Team based in Chadderton and Salmesbury, near Preston.

The organisation is offering a salary of £28,000 pro rata for part time applicants with a comprehensive benefits package. You will be working within a collaborative and supportive team with strong values.

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction which will take place in Chadderton, Oldham or Salmesbury, near Preston.

• Drivers Licence with access to a car
• CIPD Qualification Level 5
• Degree In a relevant field or subject – not essential

Work Location:
On Site and must be able to work flexibility between Chadderton and Salmesbury. This is not a remote or hybrid working role.
