Team Manager (Rochdale)

Main duties and responsibilities

Future Directions CIC are recruiting for a Team Manager to join our fantastic Specialist Services team in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead a team and be able to live out our values on a daily basis.

Role

  • 37.5 hours per week full time;
  • On-call duties worked on a rota basis;
  • £29,929 – £33,929 salary per annum, depending on experience.

Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to manage the running of our service in Rochdale. As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, we’ll rely on you to manage service contracts, line manage front line staff and organise any building maintenance requirements.

Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being values and outcome driven, able to lead by example using your firm, Values Driven but inclusive management style. You’re transparent and encouraging too, and have lots of tact and diplomacy.

For internal candidates the position will initially be offered on a 12 month secondment basis and internal applicants must have passed their probationary period.

The interview date will be confirmed at a later date. All successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction which will take place in Chadderton, Oldham.

Experience:

  • Social Care/Support Work: 1 year (required);
  • Team Manager/Team Leader: 1 year (preferred).

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care/other relevant course (preferred);
  • Driving Licence with access to own Vehicle (preferred).
