SPICE

What is SPICE?
SPICE stands for Supporting People into Community Employment.

We value lived experience and think that by listening to people with lived experience we can make things better and improve the support provided.

SPICE are a group of people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people. They are employed by Future Directions as ‘Experts by Experience’.

SPICE gives people with learning disabilities and autistic people a voice. It gives them the opportunity to speak out about things that are important to them.

They are involved in lots of work for Future Directions, such as interviewing and training new staff, as well as working with other learning disability organisations, and the wider local community.

Please follow SPICE on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/FutureDirectionsSPICEgroup) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/FD_SPICE) to keep up-to-date with their activities.
